The film LA MAISON DES FEMMES immerses us in the heart of a women’s shelter where care, listening, and solidarity are not just words, but everyday actions. We meet Diane, Manon, Inès, Awa, and their colleagues: committed women who support other women on their path to rebuilding their lives. With their strengths, their vulnerabilities, their anger, their hopes – and a deeply collective determination.
The preview screening will be followed by a discussion with Anne-Céline Machet, director of the Foundation for Gender Equality (FEG) and La Collective. She will present the La Collective project: a future one-of-a-kind space in the heart of Geneva dedicated to gender equality, open to everyone. Starting in 2027, this venue will offer services and activities for women, gender minorities, and the general public.
